The Name Game

Colorful Kit at Nini’s Notions

I love when I find the perfect kit for a picture and then let my imagination flow. For me, it starts with color. Interesting color combinations will always attract my eye. Making the Grade: Preschool 101 is one of those kits with a magnetic color scheme. It’s full of greens, blues and oranges that work beautifully together. I just recently downloaded some pictures of my little cousin and was looking for a kit (or kits) to scrap them and Making the Grade: Preschool 101 fit the bill perfectly. In the first layout, which I titled “Check,” little Jackson’s big car adventure is highlighted perfectly by the soft blues and greens in the kit.

The second set of pictures, which are used in the layout “Working Man,” has no blue or green, but the kit’s orange and brown elements create a beautiful framework for the photos.
