1. Do you keep a wishlist? If so, what is your MOST WANTED item at the moment?
New wood flooring in my house and new sofas. I would also love to build a new deck and do some landscaping! BUT if you are talking about CRAFTING wishlists, it would be Photoshop CS7 and a Cameo die cutting machine!
2. What is your designing routine, i.e. do you get a snack, put on music, get organized and then work on a kit until its finished or do you pop in and out as time allows?
Unfortunately, I am obsessed when I design, especially if I have a really great idea or a quick deadline. I sneak in the studio before anyone is awake with my coffee and sometimes don’t get out of my chair till noon…except when the dog wakes up and demands her breakfast! It’s amazing how the time flies by when I am working on a new idea.
3. When you scrap, do you use your own products?
Yes because I like to show people how they can be used or what my vision was for the product. When I design my kits, I usually have a photo or subject in mind I want to scrap, so the process goes hand it hand.
4. What is your all-time favorite product OR what is your best selling product(s)?
Right now, I am really loving making paper pieced clip art like my Nativity sets and Owl series. I usually do alot of clip art drawings, so it’s been really fun to experiment with something new to me.
5. What are your reasons or motivations for digital scrapbooking?
That’s easy! My obsession to create! With digital scrapbooking, everything I need is right inside my computer and my imagination. I don’t have to run to the store and I never run out of supplies! I’m still very messy though! Go figure!
6. What is the best food you ever ate? Describe.
I’m not sure if it is the BEST, but the first one that popped into my head! It was the first time I tried fried prawns (shrimp) in New Orleans. I was about 16 and on a trip with my church youth group. I made myself try something really new for me and it was sooooo good!! Fresh Gulf Shrimp! YUM!
7. Where is your “happy place?”
I have alot of happy places…looking at my children (now teens), teaching little ones the simple truth about Jesus Christ and seeing them light up, singing in our Worship Team and learning about God, sitting on a swing in the evening of spring with my husband–no phones allowed! That last one doesn’t happen very often, but when it does, it’s so peaceful.
8. If you won the lottery, how would you spend the winnings?
Pay for my children’s college expenses, fix up my house, take care of my parents-the usual things…and start our dream retirement: travel with my husband to share Christ and help people in need.
9. What else should we know about you?
Hmmmmm….I’m not very organized, I love to snorkel, I get really crazy ideas at the weirdest times, and I would LOVE to work full time at an outdoor camp ministry. Maybe I should start a camp when I win that lottery?

1. Do you keep a wishlist? If so, what is your MOST WANTED item at the moment?
New storage system for my Studio! ok, still hoping for that Long Arm Quilting Machine.
2. What is your designing routine, i.e. do you get a snack, put on music, get organized and then work on a kit until its finished or do you pop in and out as time allows?
I am always designing! You’d laugh at my notebooks and sketchbooks with ideas sketched out and colors splashed on pages for inspiration, and even usually carry one of them and a camera. Never know when the muse will strike. I love to sit and design in the wee hours of the morning when the house is quiet and wake around 3am. I usually design a kit in one sitting because when I am inspired it just flows.
3. When you scrap, do you use your own products?
For the most part I do, it’s how most of my kits are born. I will do personal scrapping or visual art journaling and just keep adding to for a kit. I’m also attracted to other artsy types of designers so I do have quit a stash from several to the tune of over 300 GB and that was after cleaning out very old art.
4. What is your all-time favorite product OR what is your best selling product(s)?
My favorite products would be difficult as each is when I create them. My biggest selling products are tied with each selling the same amount: MultiPhoto Templates 1-6 Bundle, Beautiful Mess 6 and Beautiful Mess 2
5. What are your reasons or motivations for digital scrapbooking?
I love the versatility of digital in being able to move, delete, add as I wish along with sizing photos, blending and getting artsy. I am a Life Journaler more than a scrapbooker, I not only scrap life experiences, but use it as my creative outlet also for journaling personal feelings through art. It’s a healing process and a celebration of life to me.
6. What is the best food you ever ate? Describe.
Oh it’s this cream cheese stuffed shrimp for a little Irish Tavern back east. It’s to die for! It just melts in your mouth and has all these fresh garlic and herbs in it.
7. Where is your “happy place?”
In my Art Studio for the most part. I also love to be out in nature either riding my motorcycle or hiking the canyons and mountains nearby
8. If you won the lottery, how would you spend the winnings?
if I won enough, I’d build a few log cabins on a mountain side for me and my children with plenty of land to garden and have a small farm of animals and work on being more self sustaining. I raised my children like that and we miss it. Nothing is more satisfying to me than reaping what you sow and being close with nature doing it.
9. If you could meet anyone, dead or alive, who would you chose and what would you want to talk about?
Leonardo DaVinci hands down! We’d talk about his art, his inventions and all his wondrous thoughts about life.
10. What else should we know about you?
I march to the beat of a different drummer than most I guess. I love to teach and share what I know about computer graphics and art, and I love to create art with children. I have recently started teaching at ReneePearson.com and selling my original artwork in my Etsy shop.
Nothing inspires me more than getting messy with kids or hearing the excitement someone has when they learn something new. Some of my hobbies include medicinal herbs and gardening, studying ancient religions and civilizations, art quilting, mixed media projects, and riding with the boys to get a cup of coffee on a Sunday morning 200 miles away.

1. Do you keep a wishlist? If so, what is your MOST WANTED item at the moment? I am currently saving money to remodel my bedroom. I’ve got the furniture money saved up, now I need to save for carpeting and paint. I’m hoping to be able to do it this summer!
2. What is your designing routine, i.e. do you get a snack, put on music, get organized and then work on a kit until its finished or do you pop in and out as time allows? I usually sneak into my work room when no one is looking. If I announce it, suddenly everyone needs me! I’ll usually grab a snack and a drink so I don’t have to leave for anything! I try to sneak in some time during the day if I have some time off work, otherwise, I have to wait for the weekend.
3. When you scrap, do you use your own products? Yes, but I also use favorite designer products. Because my time is limited, if I need a specific kit for an album I’m doing, I will search for that specific kit. I love to use Glenda Ketcham’s “Most Wonderful Place” series. We try to go to Disneyland each year and this kit is perfect for that!
4. What is your all-time favorite product OR what is your best selling product(s)? I have a few all-time favorites (that also happen to be my best sellers too!) I love Millcreek Canyon, America the Beautiful, Les Jardins du Manior, Superstitious, Wild Mood Swings and I is for Imagination!
5. What are your reasons or motivations for digital scrapbooking? I love family history and genealogy and this is a natural extension of those. It’s such a great way to record your family memories. Plus, it’s not messy!
6. What is the best food you ever ate? Describe. In Chicago, I had the most amazing chocolate lava cake–it melted in my mouth! In San Diego it was scallops, and in England I had to-die-for fish and chips! Yum!
7. Where is your “happy place?” The beach, specifically Mexico Beach, Florida, but I’ll take any beach really!
8. If you won the lottery, how would you spend the winnings? After paying off bills and setting aside money for travel, I would start a charitable foundation benefitting women, children, refugees and victims of sexual violence.
9. If you could meet anyone, dead or alive, who would you chose and what would you want to talk about? I would love to have time with my infant daughter that we lost 20 years ago. I would also love to meet Martin Luther King, Junior and talk to him about changing the world.
10. What else should we know about you? I am passionate, funny, generous to a fault, and crazy busy!

Do you keep a wishlist? If so, what is your MOST WANTED item at the moment?
I guess I’m always wishing for something. Right now I need a good camera to use in my scrapping business.
What is your designing routine, i.e. do you get a snack, put on music, get organized and then work on a kit until its finished or do you pop in and out as time allows?
Designing is just about a full time job for me. I start out in the morning about 9:00 with a cup of coffee in front of my computer going through email but my mind is always full of ideas for scrapbooking. I have a notebook with me at all times to jot down my ideas. I’m always finding pictures on the internet that inspire me either by design or color. I’ve just joined Pinterest and I’m spending way too much time there!
When you scrap, do you use your own products?
Yes, usually with my latest kit. Many of the kits I make are inspired by my needs but I also make kits that are requested by my customers.
What is your all-time favorite product OR what is your best selling product(s)?
It’s tough to choose because I’m in love with each one as I create them but I’m going to pick “Turkish Flair World Traveler”. I’m just a little partial to Turkey because I lived there for a short time and met an amazing friend. I still vacation there as often as I can.
What are your reasons or motivations for digital scrapbooking?
I love to make things. I’ve always been into crafts. When I discovered digital scrapbooking I was surprised at how quickly it became my favorite craft. The possibilities just seem endless.
What is the best food you ever ate? Describe.
A good steak is one of my favorite foods and the best I’ve ever had was at a restaurant called Texas de Brazil. Their house special is mouth watering tender and perfectly seasoned. It is an all you can eat place and believe me I ate all I could.
Where is your “happy place?”
Of course, I love to be in front of my computer designing but I also love to go dancing, play racquetball, garden and refinish furniture. But, I’m never happier than when I spend time with my family.
If you won the lottery, how would you spend the winnings?
I have so many projects in mind but generally I would spend most of it on charitable endeavors especially for the mentally ill.
If you could meet anyone, dead or alive, who would you chose and what would you want to talk about?
I think it would be fun to meet Johnny Carson. He was so funny when he was the host of the Tonight Show. What a fun time it would be just to laugh and be entertained.
What else should we know about you?
I have a BS degree in chemistry. I was a real life CSI but I gave up my career to stay home and take care of my children. It’s been a great life!

1. Do you keep a wishlist? If so, what is your MOST WANTED item at the moment?
No, I don’t really keep a wish list. I try not to wish for things I know I probably can’t ever get!! Would love to have Photoshop CS5 though.
2. What is your designing routine, i.e. do you get a snack, put on music, get organized and then work on a kit until its finished or do you pop in and out as time allows?
I have to pop in and out as time allows I’m afraid, as I don’t have much choice with a bunch of demanding kids but I do tend to like to work and work until something is finished, so with no distractions I’d probably do that.
3. When you scrap, do you use your own products?
Yes I try to, however I don’t seem to get very much time to scrap of late. I also like to use other kits which I like too.
4. What is your all-time favorite product OR what is your best selling product(s)?
My favourite often changes as I make a new kit, my newest kit tends to be my favourite until I make another one!! My best selling product right now is The Voyager Collection followed closely by my Eeeek! Page Kit.
5. What are your reasons or motivations for digital scrapbooking?
I love it!!!
6. What is the best food you ever ate? Describe.
Oh that’s tough! I really love Mexican food, but if you are meaning one particular item then that has to be my Grandmother’s Chocolate Eclairs – describe them? – YUMMY!!
7. Where is your “happy place?”
I’m not sure I have one really.
8. If you won the lottery, how would you spend the winnings?
Depending on how much I won, I think the first thing I’d do is take my boys home to UK to see my family again. Next I’d pay off debts and if there was any left over I’d save it for the boys education.
9. If you could meet anyone, dead or alive, who would you chose and what would you want to talk about?
Hmm… I think I’d like to meet my Grandmother, who died when I was just a baby, I’d probably talk about my mum and what she was like growing up, I’d also ask her about all her family members, her parents, grandparents etc. Get all the skeletons out of the closet!!
10. What else should we know about you?
There’s not much else to know about me, I’m a pretty simple and ordinary person.

1. Do you keep a wishlist? If so, what is your MOST WANTED item at the moment?
No, I don’t keep a wishlist – but I’m always wanting natural looking elements.
2. What is your designing routine, i.e. do you get a snack, put on music, get organized and then work on a kit until its finished or do you pop in and out as time allows?
I’m a busy, busy mom and I never know what my schedule will be. Most of the time, my best scrapping/designing time is during the day when my kids are all at school. I usually work with the TV on (it keeps me company). I usually take about 2-3 days per kit – a full week if it’s a coordinated set of products.

1. Do you keep a wishlist? If so, what is your MOST WANTED item at the moment?
I keep a journal type of thing where I write down things I see and want and make little notes. Right now I would LOVE to take a photography class that I’ve been eyeing, but the cost is a little more than I can justify.
2. What is your designing routine, i.e. do you get a snack, put on music, get organized and then work on a kit until its finished or do you pop in and out as time allows?
I think my entire neighborhood knows when I’m working LOL. I usually get something to drink, a soda or hot chocolate and turn up the music in my office until my ears are almost ringing. For some reason I work better that way. If it’s really quiet it seems to take me a lot longer to do anything.
