Featured Layout from Nini’s Notions Gallery

Good morning and Happy Thursday everyone – hope it’s a bright sunny day where you are!  Today we are going to peek into the gallery of Nini’s Notions and…..well, today I’m putting my own little scrapping self into the spotlight.  This is called 5-Year-Old Sherry, and it uses the minikits from Sharon’s Study in Yellow & Grey:

You know what a great feeling it is when a layout just falls into place almost without effort?  Well that was the case with this one.  Sharon’s products in the Study in Yellow and Grey line are absolutely fantastic to work with, with such variations, and it was easy as pie!  The layered background papers were in one of the mini kits, I didn’t have to do that myself, so there was a huge piece of my layout.  The glittery accents are so pretty – I especially love the one with the hearts!  There were more glitter accents I could have used but I didn’t want to fill up the page too much.  And then she has a mini-kit just full of these gorgeous yellow flowers that just jumped themselves right into a cluster, and voila!  There’s my layout, which I will treasure as this is a favorite photo from childhood.  Thanks Sharon for a wonderfully designed product to make our layouts shine!

There are thirteen – yes, count ‘em thirteen! – mini kits in Sharon’s store from Study in Yellow & Grey.  The main reason there are so many is that she has very considerately included minis for scrappers who use letter size as well as 12×12.  She has also bundled the products in a 12×12 bundle so you can get everything at once at a great price!
