FONT FESTIVAL IN THE FORUM

One of the things I never gave much thought to when I began digitally scrapping was fonts.  I mean, when I titled a layout or did some journaling, obviously I looked for a font I wanted to use, but I didn’t know you could actually add more fonts to your collection.  But you can! And, if you don’t want to go searching the internet for new and interesting fonts, then come over to the forum and check out the Font Festival Challenge… we don’t have to hunt them down because every couple of months, Katey (aka jongleuse) provides us some new fonts to play with!  For July and August, she found six!  Six new fonts to add to your stash!

 I was looking through the layouts submitted to the challenge by the talented members at Digitals and thought I’d share a few of them.

First, I’d like to share anitab’s Samuel Speeds into September.  I love the pictures in her layout and her font choices are perfect for it.  She used the Rolina and 123 Go fonts, as well as Vicky Day’s Bee a Blessing and Basic Template Set 5.

There are many, many wonderful layouts that have been submitted to the Font Festival Challenge.  It’s well worth your while to check them out, leave some love and grab some new fonts for yourself!
