Kathryn's Dizzy Digits, starring Friends of Digitals! ~ Week 33
I post a new math puzzle every Saturday, you figure it out, and you win a little bonus that just matches one of my kits/collections!
This Featured Kit ~ Pretty as a Picture ~ is only $2.50 all week!
Here's your prize ~
How to play ~
Just figure out the right answer to the puzzle, send a Private Message to withnuts (Terry) with the right answer, and she'll send you a link to a zip file which includes the week's prize. Make sure you have room in your Private Message box so that she can respond to you and then download your prize right away while the link is active.
IMPORTANT ~ Do not reveal the answer in this thread as that will end the game for the week. We would like you to post in this thread so that everyone can see who is playing, and let us know what you think of the game. Just don't put the answer out there for everyone to see.
This puzzle will go through the week, and I'll post another one next Saturday. If you miss a week, you can always go back to figure it out, and Terry will be happy to check your answer for you, but the prize will only be good for one week.
You might be a star! The names in these puzzles are real. The stories have been changed to protect the innocent.
Puzzle #33 ~
The Featured Kit this week is Pretty as a Picture and is all about taking photos and framing them in pretty ways. Sherry_Lynn and DarcyPalmer have new cameras that are all charged up and ready to go. In the first 10 minutes after buying their cameras, DarcyPalmer took 26 less than three times as many photos as Sherry_Lynn took. How many photos did each of these ladies take if together they took 38?For this puzzle, I'd suggest writing an algebra equation. If you need a starting point, look at this HINTS page.
To invite your friends to join us, you can send them this link...
Terry and I are so excited about hosting this game here at Digitals, and we hope to see you come back each week! Let's sharpen those brain cells while we have fun AND get digital goodies in the process. Thanks for being a part of the fun here at Digitals!
