Post any ideas or suggestions you have here for:
1. Changes in the look of the site 2. Changes in the functions of the site 3. New programs or events we could try 4. New marketing avenues to explore 5. Anything else related to improving Digitals Please be specific and include links or images if needed to illustrate your point. Remember we can't do everything you suggest, but we work to convert as much of your input as possible into action. If you feel more comfortable, you can always email me stacey@digitalscrapbookpages.com too. Thanks for your valuable suggestions! |

Please: More letter-size papers in Kits, Reasons below
Here are some ideas I came up with because my printer only prints letter-size papers. I've been scrapping (both paper & digital) for years. I'm in the middle of resizing "all" my 12x12 papers to 8.5x11" (letter size)...I have over 3,000 kits!
1. When I come upon a floral (any designed) paper, I resize to the left, save it. Then I bring up same floral and resize to the right. This gives me facing papers for scrapping. 2. It's cheaper purchasing scrapbooks, even photo albums (because we use a/f, lignin-free page protectors). 3. I also purchase 3D ring scrapbook and photo albums to give me many pages (might be a little heavy to lift LOL) but worth the price, saves me time searching for whatever book I'm continuing of adding finished pages. 4. The reason of using letter-size papers from kits, it gives me more time to scrap then having to resize first. 5. Saving money lets me buy more kits haha...like I need more, but the designers keep coming out with more, with new looks, etc. I have to buy, I'm addicted! 5. There are two designers I know of that are creating letter-size papers along with their 12x12's, and I'd like to thank them, makes my valuable time important. You know who you are - thank you very much. (Stacey if this is in the wrong forum, please move for me - thanks) |

Hi Stacey & Scrapbook friends,
I have a question or idea for a new challenge for our group. 1. Do we have a special challenge to make a LO for Designer Challenge for the Daily Store Download featuring right now is Tammy DeYoung? If so can you give me the name of the challenge? 2. Ladies can sign up to do a LO for the daily store Featured Designer. 3. Each day downloading the pieces for that day, then each day adding the new elements/paper then send in a starting LO that we would add to until all the elements/papers have been used to make up the finished LO. 4.The Ladies will have 1 day to finish there LO. 5. After doing the LO maybe they can go into the gallery that has been set up and choose 3 different LO's that they like best. 6. Then the ladies can go back to the "FORUM" and vote. 7. The Lady with the highest vote could maybe receive a gift as the winner. What do you all think of this idea? I have done this as a weekly scrap before in one of my groups and really enjoyed planning/placing/designing my LO for each day. To answer anyone question before they ask "No I have never won, but getting a step closer each month". Hugs marilynnay mnay01@att.net |

I would like to make 2 suggestions. In order to give credit I have a tough time finding the Digitals challenge kit - mega, collab it is called different things. For ex. I searched for 'Lovely in lilac' and got the 6 individual mini kits but not the mega kit. If a category of 'mega kit' could be added it would be quickly found.
2nd suggestion is for a heritage challenge. I loved the All in the Family challenge we used to have and it had a large following. I got into digital scrapbooking via genealogy so am interested in continuing. Thanks, Gloria

Thanks for your suggestions Gloria.
I have added all the full challenge kits to the Challenge Kit category in the store http://digitalscrapbookpages.com/dig...ndex&cPath=305 so you can find them easily. I will ask our designers if anyone is interested in resurrecting the heritage challenge or starting a new one. We appreciate your input. ~Stacey Quote:

After you have scrapped for a time, organization of materials is a challenge. I find when I am planning what to use for a scrap page, I look for the color/and or type of kit I want. Occasionally some of the designers include the color palatte with their collab part, or sometimes the photo of the whole collab. My suggestion is to include a large photo of the collab kit(preferably 800 x 800) and a color palatte used for the kit.
Thanks, Gloria
