April/May 2012 card challenge

Hello everyone!
I'm the new hostess for this challenge! I'm excited to be here!

I'm going to be changing things up a little. I'm not so good at template making, so instead, we will be doing more of a "mini tutorial" kind of challenge for our cards.

Since my strength is graphic art and clip art design, the images I like to draw are perfect for cards! So how about we make the first challenge using clip art!

Below is the free clip art owl I would like you to use in your card. Download it from the link below the one you download will NOT have my name on it. It is a little different from my other owls, but you could mix and match it with my papers if you wanted to. Here is the challenge:
Using at least 50% Digitals products (I forgot to post that this morning--so if you already put your card in the gallery, no worries)

Theme: Your choice--birthday, anniversary, spring, etc. etc.
Instructions: Design a card front, digital or hybrid, using:
1. the free owl clip art below (please give credit)
2. at least 2 papers of your choice (any kit you wish)
3. at least 3 other elements of your choice, any kit (frames, ribbons, etc.)

hmmmm.....sorry to hear the teal gave you trouble....that's what a challenge is for though, right? to stretch you! And you did a beautiful job with your card and color combo! Great job! Thanks for playing!

Tip: you can change the hue of clip art in most software programs to get a color you like better....in photoshop you use the hue slider tool...not sure about other programs.
