Books for Small Children

Glenda, Amanda, thanks for the ideas/info! I have 2 6x6 albums sitting in my house, that I can't remember when I purchased, and LOADS of paper scrapbook materials I only touch to make cards now (thanks to discovering digital scrapbooking), so I think I'll engage my son to make his own 'mini' scrapbook. He loves to sit and look through mine. Be his own for keeps where Mom wouldn't be 'don't bend that, careful turing pages'. lol. I am for sure going to check out those board books though! Sounds interesting!

I got a coupon for some 99 cents - they call them brag books and they are 4x6, and self bound. I'm going to visit them next month - we will see how durable they are ...

You girls has many great idea, I am just one time create a book for my kids and now it's broken. Well, they always have extra energy to destroy something sometime.

Just had an idea for a book I think I will be make for my almost one-year-old granddaughter for Christmas. They live about 1.5 hours away, which is not that far, but I don't get to see her as often as I do my grandkids who live 10 minutes away. Anyway, I think I'll make her a little 4x4 board book with pictures of us (her grandparents), her aunts, uncles and cousins. I'll put a close-up pic of each person along with their name. That way she can remember everyone in between visits. Now, to "just do it!"
