Double Page Challenge - Aug/Sept 2012 - Digitals

Sorry, I just realized that I haven't posted this month's challenge yet! I've had a rough week, with lots of stuff on my plate that was outside of my normal... I guess that just chased other things out!

Well, here we go.

Definition of a double layout: a set of two scrapbook pages that are designed to be printed and/or displayed side-by-side. They can be done as one continuous page or just as two pages that look nice together. They are typically done with coordinating colors/papers and feature a single theme or topic.

Every other month, I'll set out a new challenge for you. Each one will have something to do with a two-page layout; you'll need to post the double layout to the gallery in order to earn the challenge reward. You can post it as a single gallery image that shows both pages or you can post them individually (or do like many people do and post it both ways!) You will always have two months to complete the challenge to earn the prize.

Remember.... no "double dipping" - the LOs you make for this challenge can't count for another challenge! You need to use products from Digitals, but they don't have to be from my store (although I LOVE to see my stuff used!)

Now for the challenge...

I'd like to do something this month that is in honor of the Olympics.

Your challenge is to create a double page layout that is about either a sport, or "winning". If you select a theme that is harder to see as winning or sports related, please make sure your journaling shows that your page fits the challenge.

As usual, make it your own. I've left this one pretty wide open, so that everyone should be able to create a double page that fits.

I have based my pages on the first Gold medal won by team GB at this years Olympics. I am just loving the Olympics. Go team GB GO!!!!

Here is my two-pager. It covers everything: Olympics (although its the WINTER version); Winning (4 time US Champions; World Champions); and Sports: Ice Dancing.
