Should I use a Drop Shadow if I'm prinint?

My first few pages were intended for digital use only. But last year for Christmas I had some pages printed and now everyone wants a "real" scrapbook. On one of my pages where I had a drop shadow it came out pixelated but on others it wasn't a problem. I just want to know if there is anything to definitely include or exclude on the pages I want to print.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
