Welcome to the inaugural month of the Lasting Legacy Challenge! Katey Green, Diana Burton, and I will be your guides as we document your heritage and family history. Each month, one of us will focus on a different aspect of heritage scrapping. Pull up your genealogy, your old photos, and prepare to meet your ancestors!

In the USA this month, we are celebrating our independence. I thought it would be a good month to explore family members who served our various countries in the military. If you don't have photos, don't worry. This is all about documenting your history--with or without photos. This month, introduce us (and your descendants) to an ancestor of yours who served in the military.
