Default Which Printer Do You Use?

Let's get some discussion going about printing. Share your favorite printers here. I have an Epson 2200 & 740. I print everything from 4"x6" photos to cards to 12"x12" scrapbook pages.

Default Epson C84

I have an Epson C84 and I'm not too pleased with it these days. I just replaced all the ink cartridges and can't get the alignment right. It printed ok on the last set of cartridges. The cartridges are just too expensive to go buy another set to see if these were bad. A new printer is cheaper than a set of ink.

That said, I prefer Epson to Lexmark any day.

I'm an Epson Girl too I have the 825, R320, and the PictureMate Snap. I really want one of the newer wide format Epsons, like the 1400. How do you like the 2200? I bought the Snap for my Daughter for Christmas last year and just had to get one. It is so convenient, and the prints are beautiful. I also have an Epson scanner...I think I'm keeping the company in business

Default Epson 2200

I really like the 2200. I got it used on e-bay. It prints up to 13" wide and I can load rolls on it. The ink prices get me down but I have ways to get more out of each cartridge and I am looking into a software program that allows you to use less ink without sacrificing quality.

Have you tried contacting Epson directly? I have heard that the c84s are cheaper than the ink. You can print right on cd's right? I am not a huge fan of third party ink but maybe a good option if you want to tough it out.
