I determined to spend some time working in my yard. It's been dry and really needs a lot of attention. While out there, I got (pleasantly) interrupted. Journaling reads:
My beloved spake, and said unto me, Rise up, my love, my fair one, and come away. For, lo, the winter is past, the rain is over and gone; The flowers appear on the earth; the time of the singing of birds is come, and the voice of the turtle is heard in our land; The fig tree putteth forth her green figs, and the vines with the tender grape give a good smell. Arise, my love, my fair one, and come away.
(Song of Solomon 2:10-13)
I felt the tug at my heart strings this morning as I went out into the garden. You beckoned me to come away and spend some time with You in quiet solitude.
~I used a photo of my yard for the background. The plumeria leaves and lauhala tag from my Maui Pinks Plumeria kit.

Where to begin with this . . . it's absolutely gorgeous! I love whatever it is you did to the background picture, it looks like part of it has a texture on it. Whatever it is, I really like it! And the other photo just pops off the page. I love the way you have the leaf at the bottom over part of the pic. It looks as though the flowers have escaped from the other picture. Then that woven background is a wonderful addition to the page, really goes with the feel of the page. And the journaling is wonderful . . . well, of course, it's wonderful, they're God's Words!
