When I was younger, I felt like Autumn was the end of Summer or the beginning of Winter, not a season unto itself. As I grow older, I realize that Autumn is a season of change. Not only for the leaves on the trees, but for me. It’s a quiet time to reflect on the busy days of Summer and to prepare myself for the not so gentle Winter. I’ve learned to slow down and enjoy the fresh crispness in the air, allow it to clear my head. I’ve learned to enjoy the brilliant colors.
