Journaling Reads: On this day at the “zoo” in
Oregon, I’m not sure who entertained us more - Caleb or the animals. Not all of us could watch the keepers feed the sea lions - not enough room by the windows. I was a wee bit sad - at first. But my boy, Caleb, saved the day for us. With every action in the pen, he would turn around and show us exquisite facial expressions. We weren’t sure if he was imitating the people inside or if he was showing off his own inner animal. Whichever it was, we got a big hoot out of it. So did the people around him. But he finally forgot all about us.
I really like the way you framed that great title and the interweaving of the journal papers. The cluster of animals at the bottom is too cute! Thanks for sharing!
