Journaling:
Princess Diana, the royal beauty,
lived a life written about in fairy
tales. She exuberated qualities that
most people adore. She was loved
world wide. Her flawless beauty,
her quiet demeanor, and her candid
outspokenness about matters of
humanity made her dear to the
world. But the reality of her life
was a nightmare for her, a fairy
tale gone bad. Her life ended in a
tragic car accident. It made me
stop and take note that even
though a person may appear to
have it all, the truth is that there
may be great personal turmoil.
And sometimes the price of the
fairy tale is not worth the pain
and heartache that goes along
with the fantasy. I was extremely
saddened that her life ended, not
in peace, but in heartbreak. This
beauty had suffered with an
eating disorder, the seemingly
perfect marriage was a farce. The
prince that swept her off her feet
was secretly carrying on with a
mistress. I learned through her
that faith in Christ is a must, that
riches and fame are not what they
are cracked up to be, that a person
you love and trust can break your
heart and your spirit, and to always
question, "is it worth it?"

Beautiful and meaningful page... She had a tormented life, she was also unfortunately a classical narcissist (self-hate, weak, always defining herself through the eyes of others, relatively immature), it seems she never had a chance to be happy...

Wonderful page. Even though she was in turmoil she brought up two upstanding children and did much meaningful work in spite of it.

Fantastic page and journaling. Although Diana still generates controversy, all that you wrote about is completely true and one can't deny her heart was in the right place. Thanks so much for participating on my challenge.

Very pretty layering! So true--what a sad end for such a beautiful person inside and out. I think she would say it was worth it because she was able to do so many charitable works for the sole reason that she was royalty.
