Journaling:

My little Jared is sure growing up… In fact, I guess I can’t call him my little Jared anymore at all, huh? His body may be
small for his age, but at 11 1/2 years old, he’s not so little anymore.

In fact, compared to a lot of boys his age, Jared is quite mature. He is very honest, respectful, and responsible… I can’t
tell you how proud I am of him. My precious son.

I love that kid, so very much.

One of the ways that I know he has left childhood behind is the fact that he has his first “crush” … Maybe not a real
crush, but for the first time Jared thinks that a girl is “cute”… It’s more of a celebrity crush though… And
that girl is Bindi Irwin.

I think his main attraction toward Bindi is her love of animals, and the fact
that she wants to work with them, which is what Jared wants too… Jared is
a big fan of Steve Irwin, and it doesn’t surprise me at all that he would
become a fan of Bindi as well.

And well… She is really cute, isn’t she?
