Journal (on R page): As we were finishing our tea, a group of youngsters carrying instrument cases trouped in, gathered at the back of the lobby and began tuning their violins. We enjoyed their holiday music for a bit, then wandered around the building. The First Nations totem pole and mask are a permanent exhibit. The tree-hugging teddy bear is just visiting for the holidays.
