journaling: Dani, Ian and their brother-in-law were here from Idaho, along with Brandon and Bryce, home from college. Roland is quite the gourmet chef, so any meal with them is a special treat. Tonight we had beef tenderloin with a coating of horseradish and crumbs, new roasted potatoes with herbs, fresh green beans cooked with onions and bacon, crab legs with drawn butter and Caesar salad. Dani brought a special wine that was perfect with the meal, plus they had several gourmet beers from the northwest.
