2011-About Resolutions-2012
My goals haven't changed much in the last four or five years, which is fine with me. Completing goals or finishing projects has never been a high priority for me. It's the planning and working on them, that is important to me. I love having a direction, then I just work at things, as I am inspired. My inspiration comes from many directions; our seasons, the weather, where I live and travel, colors, challenges at various scrapbooking web sites, a memory or an idea that I get from others or from the world I live in.
I still have not added any more pages to the scrapbook that goes with my Mother's Memoirs, but I have done pages about her for my story album. I did make a wonderful trip to the Judith River area in central Montana, where my Dad grew up and plan to go back again this next summer. I still don't have all the pictures and pages in albums, but there is still hope to get that done. Sometimes I am very organized and sometimes not. I have made a lot of pages and told a lot of stories about our family and about myself this last year. I have shared these with family and friends on Facebook, which they have appreciated. I also had several Serendipity experiences this past year and realized that there can be so many wonderful, unexpected joys brought into our lives, when we least expect it. So I want to be even more open to that this year. I also want to do more exploring into the past and learn even more about my today.
