Chloe was following us around today while we were taking pregnant pictures of her Aunt Cici (Casey) and Uncle Kyle. She had on her glitter boots instead of her mud boots and Mommy wasn't very happy with her when we saw her stomping in a mud puddle! I still love this picture of her though. She has mud on her knees and boots, but she still has her lip gloss in her pocket. Well, it's Mommy's lip gloss, but Chloe insisted on wearing it and carrying it around in her pocket. Chloe can be such a girly-girl, she loves sparkles and girly clothes. But, she can get down and dirty with the best of them. And, she does get down and dirty quite often!
What is a Girl?
She’s a bundle of sweetness and brightness and fun
The beauty of springtime, the warmth of the sun.
She’s innocence covered with mud, sand and soot
She’s Motherhood dragging a doll by the foot.
She’s a composite picture of giggles and tears
Of tantrums, excitement, amusement and fears.
A bundle of mischief and often a tease
A creature of moods not too easy to please.
She can capture your heart with her pixie-like grin
Or chatter and beg till your patience wears thin.
But obedient, naughty, mischievous or coy
She's Mommy's little darling and Daddy's pride and joy.
Coincidentally, I used my kit, Chloe's Colors 2, for this layout.
