Dale Chihuly’s Garden of Glass museum opened in Seattle Center in late May, right under the Space Needle, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year. So after our recent visit to the Pacific Science Center we wandered over to the museum to see what we could see. At $20 a head, we couldn’t afford to go inside, but the landscaping trees and shrubbery that will eventually surround the Garden of Glass are still small and open enough to allow those willing to search for a high vista point to peek into the Garden. These are some amazing glass sculptures! We’re hoping that eventually the Garden will join the “first Thursdays free” so we’ll be able to get an inside look.
