Dear Sabrina,
I am writing to you in the summer of 2012 while I am 26 to let you know that although you feel alone and an outcast it is ok. There is a reason that you do and you will discover that later in life after you have achieved a lot of those goals you are setting for yourself right now. And I also want you to know that although there are times you second guess your choices in being the “strong-willed Christian” girl you won’t regret it much when you reach this age. It is hard being that girl who doesn’t take part in a lot of the normal teen things but you know what? Those are frivolous and mean nothing when you get older. You are already wise beyond your years and will use the determination that you have now to achieve great things. Your independence now is actually admired by other people even though you don’t know it. Keep your head on straight sweetheart and stay focused on your goals and don’t worry too much about what others say, because more often than not their comments are made out of jealously. When you come against hard times keep in mind all you have been taught and journal your feelings. Don’t be afraid to explore yourself through your writing it is healthy, but most importantly hon just stay true to yourself no matter what!
