One year we decided to hit MB in Feb rather than in the warmer months--WHY is beyond me now lol but probably was a year I had a bad time of it so dh took me away for a week as a surprise. His bro and sister-in-law were there that time of year so we got together a few times to go out to eat. Once was to River City Cafe' which turned out to be a hoot as customers are given baskets of peanuts and you HAVE to throw the shells on the floor! It's a little hole in the wall type place with liscense plates all over the wood shack type walls admist beachey decor like lighthouses, captains and steering wheels. THEY are the BEST burgers we ever ate and we still go there every time we stay there. Was the first time I ever had a "Bloomin Onion" which for those who don't know is a huge vidalia onion split and dipped in batter, deep fried and served with a semi-spicey dipping sauce. YUM!
