These are relatives of mine. Not exactly sure how they were related. I believe that Gertrude was my Grandmother's cousin. I have an album filled with many old black and white photos. I happen to find them very fascinating...the women in my family were very beautiful...in my unbiased opinion.

Background and lace are by Angel Zimmer from her Mom's Cafe Kit.

The flower (corner piece) is by new designer Amanda Thorderson!

I love the simplicilty of this layout. Simple yet striking. Did you realize when you made the background that it looks like speckled stone? Nice work.

love the color with b&w photo.

Maybe change the color of the font, something softer might feel better to you and maybe putting it verital or at an angle
