Journaling: This is my Dad, Al, in 1945 at age 14, sledding with his dog, Teddy. Teddy seems to enjoy sledding as much as Al!
Credits: Thanks for a fun challenge! I had previously worked with this picture, but I like this LO better... it has more of a "vintage" feel to it. The backgrounds look like warm wool to me. All elements except mitten tags and arrow are from Valarie Lemons' Frosty Snowflakes megakit. Mitten tags (recolored) from Roberta Dachille's Frosted Aquamarine kit.
Fonts are Teen (title) and TKHoneydo (journaling). Made with Photoshop.

How much fun is it to see your Dad play as a youngster?! This is definately a timeless layout. It does look vintage, but if you hadn't given the date I might not have guessed the photo was from 1945. Great work on the challenge.

I really like the way you did this layout, especially the way you made the picture big, but also have a closer-up view of the same pic. I agree with Jolyn, the photo has a timeless quality. Great job.
