A tribute page for my Mom.

Heather U.
Journaling: I always called you Mama. I don’t know why, it was just my name for you. Well, Mama, there are so many things I would love to share with you now. You taught me so much in the 17 years I had you in my life. I wish I could thank you for being so patient and loving. You were such a good example of a strong yet humble woman. I learned to love unconditionally from you.
I know you would love your son-in-law and adore your grandchildren. Rachel has your beautiful eyes and Matthew has your wavy hair. My hands look so much like yours that when I am stroking Jacob’s head or thumb wrestling with Daniel I see your hands there. I feel you in Andrew’s love of music and talent for art.
When I tell Aaron that I wish he had known you better, he says that he does know you, through me. He is also so grateful that you taught me to love.
I miss you, Mama. I know I’ll see you again some day, but it’s hard to wait! I have much to tell you and much to thank you for.
