Adam signing in his car "Speed Demon" and the all-important weigh-in. Cars have to be 5 oz. or less. Poor Adam's was barely over 3 oz. so we had to glue pennies to the bottom as a temporary fix to get it closer to the 5 oz. mark (they go faster if they weight more). Luckily we have some time for modifications before he goes to district. (You might notice that a couple of the cars are turned upside-down...I found out later that apparently this takes pressure off of the wheels for better performance...I'm telling you, this is an intense race day!)
