When I was little, I had a kitten named Smokey. He went up a tree and couldn’t figure out how to get down. I would sit on the floor in my room, watch him and cry. Dad said that he got up there; he can find his way down. Three days later it started to snow, I just knew that my kitty was going to freeze to death. Dad couldn’t stand it when I cried, so. In the middle of a snow storm, he pulled out the extension ladder (double ladder….he was way up there). Anticipating that when he got to the top of the ladder, Smokey would sink His claws as hard as he could, Dad put on 2 sweatshirts and a zip up coat. The plan was to grab the cat, zip him inside the coat and get down as fast as possible before he drew blood. What he got was a cat, so relieved that someone came to get him, that once he was stuck inside the warm coat, he relaxed! Dad had to keep pushing him back up under the coat because he was so happy he just melted.

What a great story! I like the way you framed your picture and wrote the journaling around it. Great color choices too.
