This is for the August Scrap Therapy Challenge, for which the theme is ""Just the Facts, Ma'am!" This is the first of several challenges that are focusing on journaling more than normal. This says the following:
The first time saw a reenactor, I thought, “get a life.” The first time I saw an 18thC reenactment, back in 1999, I BECAME a reenactor. And I learned reenacting was a great thing to do in life. I love learning the history, and sharing it all with other people, especially the public who come to see the grand encampments or even just the cooking demonstrations, such as this
one at the Denison Homestead (Mystic, CT) in 2005. When asked what I do for a living, I say ,“reenacting, and I work a job so I can live in the 18thC as often as possible.
