This is my brother's photo from a visit to Cambodia and Vietnam. I was amazed at how Diana Burton's In The Pink worked with pinks, grays, and greens in the picture. It says:
"This is taken from the Mekong River in Phnom Penh. We went for a ferry ride around the wide waterway there, made up of 3 rivers converging. The ferry ride was sensory overload, with the vivid Cambodian colors dialed up in the dusk light, the various smells of the waterway, the sounds of parties on other ferries, and a floating fishing village that moved itself twice a year to follow the tidal shifts. We'd nearly finished our ride and I looked up at the long wall of the quayside and was amazed at the silhouettes of the Khmer style buildings beyond it, with the people sitting on the wall. Not to mention the strange color of the sunset."
