For the November "He Said She Said" challenge.

"This is my good friend Kathryn, who I met while reenacting. When she was my age, she lost her left left leg at mid-thigh. They removed it not because of the bone cancer nor because of the bad break in the bone that was weakened by the radiation therapy. She lost the leg because she got a staph infection after the 2nd complicated surgery to repair the broken femur.

She's a fun person to be with. She's wonderful to talk to. She knows me very well. She makes me laugh.

She exemplifies how to be thankful for your blessings."
