For the Nov. "Around the World" challenge.

"I’ve always loved mountains and trains, and so have my parents. In 1999, they took a long trip in the Alps, traveling on a variety of trains, over engineering marvels, and past beautiful vistas.

The middle photo is the train from St. Moritz over the Bernina Pass and down into Tirano, making a loop to manage the change in elevation.

The bottom photo shows the Swiss train south from Chur up to St. Moritz. It makes a complete loop in the tunnel and comes out several hundred feet higher.

I would like to take this same trip some day."
