Journaling reads:
My dreams were simpler as a child; they were honest, helped me live in the moment and usually on the practical side. I dreamed of growing up to be a princess, being as beautiful as my Barbie dolls, getting to eat all the ice cream I wanted, not having homework anymore, holding hands with Andrew Bozilinski, going to the park without being made to drag my brother and sister along, and being smart and popular. Looking back now, it seems that those were all such trivial dreams; but I remember how much they meant to me and how I fought so hard to make them come true. If anything else, I learned that having a dream to chase keeps me occupied and focused, and that I can do anything if I set my mind to it.
