I want my scrapbooks to not only to reflect my own personal history but to also include world events.
Journaling reads: The historic significance of the first black man elected to office resonated on the faces of those that witnessed his victory on November 4th, 2008. Enthusiasm for Barack Obama’s candidacy and the call for change in government leadership pushed voter turnout nationwide to the highest level in 40 years. Final figures showed more than 131 million people voted, the most ever for a presidential election. In Broward County, Obama captured 67 percent of the electorate, or 492,633 votes compared to 237,724 for Sen. John McCain.
This is wonderful! Gret photos and I love how you displayed them! great page
