She was born in 1909 and died in 2001. She was almost
92. It's amazing to me how much she lived through in
her lifetime. Just to name a few: She and my grandpa
lived through the Great Depression together. She lived
through many miscarriages and finally had my father.
She cared for my father when my grandpa joined the
Marines and was deployed during WWII. She witnessed
the increaing popularity of the telephone and the invention
of the television. She would have watched the televised
coverage of the man landing on the moon. She saw the
telephone increase in popularity to the cordless phone
and cellular phone. The radio became more portable in
her lifetime and the refrigerator, mocrowave and
dishwasher made her life easier in the kitchen.
